bizhub C360/C280/C220 Reliability Features & Functions THREE IMAGE STABILIZATION SETTINGS All MFPs have to temporarily cease operations to apply stabilizing control in order to achieve constant stable image quality. With the Konica Minolta mid-range color bizhub models, nearly 100% productivity is maintained because the necessary controls and appropriate timing for cleaning, alignment, correction and image stabilization takes place during print interruptions, NOT while the end user is standing at the MFP waiting to execute a job. This enables the device to increase productivity by shortening control time as well as reducing and optimizing the frequency of the control operations. Once again, Konica Minolta is a leader in terms of the high productivity level offered. These bizhub devices offer a choice of three Image Stabilization modes. These choices have been made available in order to provide the user with the image stabilization mode that best suits their office environment. By offering selections that meets the customer's needs, the bizhub devices are able to: 1. Maintain image quality and reduce the cost per print for users who have low print volume and low color ratio. 2. Reduce the time from when the Main Power Switch is turned on to when the machine is ready to print. 3. Maintain a high convenience level for users who frequently output color The three modes available are Standard, B/W Priority and Color Priority (these modes are set by an Authorized Service Technician). 1. Standard Image Stabilization Mode - The Standard Image Stabilization Mode is for users that have a low print volume and an above-average color ratio. Stabilization is kept to a minimum in this mode. 2. B/W Priority Image Stabilization Mode - The B/W Priority Image Stabilization Mode is for those environments that rarely output color. When B/W output is the primary form of output, color toner is not used. 3. Color Priority Image Stabilization Mode - The Color Priority Image Stabilization is for those users that have a high print volume and a high color ratio. This image stabilization mode is similar to that used in previous mid-range color bizhub products. The Color Priority mode continues to provide optimum color output quality with minimum interruption, thus maintaining a very high productivity level. 98
