bizhub C360/C280/C220 Scan Features & Functions NETWORK SCAN FUNCTION These devices provide a standard network scanner function that lets you quickly convert paper documents into electronic data such as PDF, TIFF, XPS or JPEG files, making them convenient to handle. Your data can be easily distributed to various locations within the office or outside the workplace. You'll access information seamlessly while increasing the value of information by sharing, enhancing and more efficiently managing the data. The C360/C280/C220 gives you the ability to convert information into assets. SCAN-TO-MULTI SEND (Multiple Destinations) Data can be distributed to multiple destinations with a single scan. With one scan operator the data can be simultaneously sent out by Email, sent to an FTP server, sent to WebDAV, sent to a PC folder or stored in a Box. SCAN-TO-ME/SCAN-TO-HOME Many environments are concerned about the security of their documents and the measures they need to take to keep these documents confidential. With today's advanced technology and numerous forms of document distribution, security-conscious companies want to implement the mechanisms available to ensure the confidentiality of their files. One such concern is ensuring that documents are not scanned to unauthorized destinations. To address this issue, Konica Minolta offers two additional security functions to provide supplementary protective security measures in addition to the numerous outstanding forms of security already available-Scan-to-Me, Scan-to-Home (when using Windows Active Directory). When Scan-to-Me, Scan-to-Home is enabled in an Active Directory environment, documents scanned at the compatible MFP are sent to an authorized Email address (Scan-to-Me) or to a folder on an authorized network share (Scan-toHome), typically the individual's Email address or individual's shared network folder (as defined in Active Directory). 74
