but they would be less because the calls would be local or at least closer than
calling from New York City.
This function can only be used when the destination (fax)
you are communicating with also supports the F-Code feature.
The Relay Reception Function located in the Settings menu must
be set to ON and the relay box must be registered if this device
will be used as a relay distribution station.
A maximum of 5 relay boxes can be registered.
TIMER TRANSMISSION
The Timer Transmission function allows you to specify the time to start the fax
communication. You can save money by sending faxes at a delayed time—during
the night or early in the morning when telephone charges are discounted. You can
specify when you want the time activated within a range of 24 hours. The date
cannot be specified. You specify the time in hours and minutes using the military
time format (22:30 for 10:30 pm). Up to 21 timers are available—20 normal timer
transmissions and 1 Polling RX timer.
POLLING TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION
Polling Transmission enables the bizhub to scan a document and store in the hard
disk until a destination sends a polling command, which invokes the transmission
of the stored document. The document is stored in the Polling TX User box
of the System User Box and transmission is started by a polling command
on the reception side. Polling Reception enables the bizhub to poll and retrieve
documents from a remote fax that has documents stored and waiting to be pulled.
