bizhub C360/C280/C220 Productivity SPECIAL PAPER Paper other than plain paper, such as OHP transparencies, colored paper and labels are called Special Paper. It is necessary to select a special paper setting for paper trays loaded with media such as OHP transparencies, colored paper, postcards and labels. If the correct paper type is not selected, paper misfeeds could occur. Paper Type Descriptions Paper Type Icon/ Symbol Single Side Only Special Paper Letterhead Description This setting is selected for paper that should not be used for double-sided copying (i.e. paper that already contains print on one side). Paper should be loaded as plain paper, weighing 17 lb. to 24 lb. A paper tray with the "Single Side Only" setting is given priority when "Auto Paper" is specified. A paper tray with this setting is NOT automatically selected during double-sided printing. This setting is selected when special paper such as high quality paper is loaded as plain paper, weighing 17 lb. to 24 lb. A paper tray with the "Special Paper" setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. This setting is selected when paper with a company letterhead or log is loaded as plain paper, weighing 17 lb. to 24 lb. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. Colored Paper This setting is selected when colored paper is loaded as plain paper, weighing 17 lb. to 24 lb. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. Transparency Thick 1 This setting is selected when OHP transparencies are loaded. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. When selecting the OHP transparencies, select the "Black" Color setting and then select the paper type. This setting is selected when paper weighing 24.25 lb. to 32 lb. is loaded. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. Thick 2 This setting is selected when paper weighing 42 lb. to 55.5 lb. is loaded. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. Thick 3 This setting is selected when paper weighing 55.75 lb. to 68 lb. is loaded. A paper tray with this setting is given priority when "Auto" Paper is specified. 184 continued
