PASSWORD TRANSMISSION
Password Transmission requires that the transmission be performed with
password attached. If the receiving facsimile along with the bizhub (sending
facsimile) is set to Closed Network RX, it is necessary for the sender to send
the same password as the Closed Network RX password. This function can
be used only when the destination (fax) with which you communicate incorporates
the F-Code feature.
F-Code
F-Code Support defines the use of the T.30 sub-address protocol
standardized by the ITU-T, the governing body that controls worldwide
facsimile standards. You can use F-Codes to perform various fax
communication functions among facsimiles supporting the F-Code
protocol even if the manufacturers are different. With the C360/C280/
C220, the F-Code is used with the bulletin board, relay request,
confidential communication and password communication functions.
RELAY BROADCAST
(Relay Transmission)
Relay Broadcast is the bridging of transmissions to several destinations via
an intermediate (relay) station. If the destinations to which you intend to transmit
are far, this function allows you to reduce communication
costs. You can arrange groups of stations, each consisting
of one relay station and several destinations.
