It assumes average office usage conditions of five days where the machine sleeps or is turned off repetitively plus two days where the machine is constantly in a sleep or off state. TEC is calculated from product specs, power consumption, and a variety of other factors. POWER SAVE MODE These bizhub devices automatically switch to the Power Save Mode when they have remained idle for a preset length of time. The time period for switching can be set as desired, to improve operating ease. This environmentally friendly mode cuts down on power consumption. Power Off-Mode If the bizhub is not used within the set time, the power is automatically turned off. Standard Power Save Key is used to place the bizhub into an immediate Low-Power or Sleep Mode. Low Power Mode reduces the amount of power used by the device, thereby conserving energy. The factory default is 15 minutes, however, the end-user can set a time period between 10 and 240 minutes. Please note that the Lower Power Mode Setting will only appear if the Administrator Security Levels parameter in Administrator Mode is set. The user can designate the length of time that can elapse before the machine enters Sleep Mode (amount of time that elapses from non-use). The factory default is 20 minutes, however, an end user can between any length of time between 15 minutes and 240 minutes. 188

POWER SAVE MODE
These bizhub devices automatically switch to the Power Save Mode when they
have remained idle for a preset length of time. The time period for switching
can be set as desired, to improve operating ease. This environmentally friendly
mode cuts down on power consumption.
Power Off-Mode
If the bizhub is not used within the set time,
the power is automatically turned off.

reduces the amount of power used by
the device, thereby conserving energy. The factory default
is 15 minutes, however, the end-user can set a time period
between 10 and 240 minutes.
Please note that the Lower Power Mode Setting will only appear
if the Administrator Security Levels parameter in Administrator
Mode is set.
The user can designate the length of time that can elapse
before the machine enters
Sleep Mode
(amount of time that
elapses from non-use). The factory default is 20 minutes,
however, an end user can between any length of time between
15 minutes and 240 minutes.
