CS1D Operating Manual (Basic Operation) Basic operation in the SELECTED INPUT CHANNEL block Here we will explain how to control an input channel using the SELECTED INPUT CHANNEL block. The SELECTED INPUT CHANNEL block controls only the currently selected channel. In exchange for being limited to only one channel, you can manually control virtually all of the mix parameters for the input channel, from head amp settings to EQ/ compressor/gate settings, and sends to the STEREO bus and MIX buses. Controls and functions of the SELECTED INPUT CHANNEL block Here we will provide a brief explanation of the controls and functions within the SELECTED INPUT CHANNEL block. +48/ø/INSERT section Switch phantom power on/off (valid only for channels that are patched to an LMY2-ML mic/line input card), switch the phase, and turn insertion on/off. DELAY section Make settings for the internal delay function. INPUT section Switch between input jacks A/B for channels to which an LMY2-ML mic/line input card has been patched. PAIR COMPRESSOR section Make settings for the internal compressor. PAIR COMPRESSOR PAIR PAIR NOISE GATE section Make settings for the internal noise gate. MIX SEND section Make on/off settings PAIR and adjust the send lev- els for the signals that are sent from the currently selected channel NOISE GATE to MIX buses 1-48. PAIR EQUALIZER section Make settings for the PAIR internal four-band EQ (HIGH, HIGH MID, LOW MID, LOW) and the HPF. PAIR 44
