16 Xerox Secure Access This chapter describes how to configure Xerox Secure Access. This is the procedure to follow to install and setup this feature: 1. Overview on page 155 2. Use Secure Access on page 158 Overview Administrators can configure the device so that users must be authenticated before they can access specific services or areas. Xerox Secure Access provides a means of authenticating users via an authentication server and optional card reader. Xerox Secure Access and Accounting Secure Access can be enabled with the Network Accounting, Xerox Standard Accounting and Foreign Device Interface features to provide accounting functionality.
