xStack Gigabit Layer 3 Switch Command Line Interface Manual DGS-3324SRi:4# show ssh server Command: show ssh server SSH Server Status SSH Max Session Connection timeout Authenticate failed attempts Rekey timeout Listened Port Number : Disabled : 3 : 120 (sec) : 2 : Never : 22 DGS-3324SRi:4# config ssh user Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Used to configure the SSH user. config ssh user authmode {hostbased [hostname | hostname_IP } | password | publickey] This command allows you to configure the SSH user authentication method. - Enter a username of no more than 15 characters to identify the SSH user. authmode - Specifies the authentication mode of the SSH user wishing to log on to the Switch. The administrator may choose between: hostbased - This parameter should be chosen if the user wishes to use a remote SSH server for authentication purposes. Choosing this parameter requires the user to input the following information to identify the SSH user. hostname - Enter an alphanumeric string of up to 31 characters identifying the remote SSH user. hostname_IP - Enter the hostname and the corresponding IP address of the SSH user. Restrictions password - This parameter should be chosen if the user wishes to use an administrator defined password for authentication. Upon entry of this command, the Switch will prompt the user for a password, and then to retype the password for confirmation. publickey - This parameter should be chosen if the user wishes to use the publickey on a SSH server for authentication. Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
