xStack Gigabit Layer 3 Switch Command Line Interface Manual 34 BOOTP RELAY COMMANDS The BOOTP relay commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following table. Command Parameters config bootp_relay {hops | time } config bootp_relay add ipif config bootp_relay delete ipif enable bootp_relay disable bootp_relay show bootp_relay {ipif } Each command is listed, in detail, in the following sections. config bootp_relay Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to configure the BOOTP relay feature of the Switch. config bootp_relay {hops } {time } This command is used to configure the BOOTP relay feature. hops − Specifies the maximum number of relay agent hops that the BOOTP packets can cross. time − If this time is exceeded, the Switch will relay the BOOTP packet. Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example Usage: To configure bootp relay status.
