Adjusting the white balance manually Réglage manuel de la balance des blancs To return to the automatic white balance Set WHT BAL to AUTO in the menu settings. If the picture is being taken in a studio lit by TV lighting We recommend that you record in the INDOOR mode. When you record under fluorescent lighting Select AUTO or HOLD. Your camcorder may not adjust the white balance correctly in the INDOOR mode. If you did the followings in the AUTO mode - You remove the battery pack for replacement. - You bring your camcorder from indoors to outdoors holding the exposure, or vice versa. Point your camcorder at the white subject for about 10 seconds after setting the POWER switch to CAMERA to get better adjustment. If you did the followings in the HOLD mode - You change the mode of PROGRAM AE. - You bring your camcorder from indoors to outdoors, or vice versa. Set WHT BAL to AUTO and reset to HOLD after few seconds. Pour revenir au mode automatique de balance des blancs Réglez WHT BAL sur AUTO dans les réglages de menu. Si vous avez effectué les procédures suivantes dans le mode AUTO - Vous avez retiré la batterie pour la remplacer. - Vous avez déplacé votre caméscope de l'intérieur d'un bâtiment vers l'extérieur ou vice-versa, tout en maintenant le réglage d'exposition. Pointez votre caméscope vers un sujet blanc pendant environ 10 secondes après avoir réglé le commutateur POWER sur CAMERA afin d'obtenir un meilleur réglage. Si vous avez effectué les procédures suivantes dans le mode HOLD - Vous avez changé le mode de PROGRAM AE. - Vous avez déplacé votre caméscope de l'intérieur d'un bâtiment vers l'extérieur ou vice versa. Réglez WHT BAL sur AUTO et réinitialisez-le à HOLD après quelques secondes. 70
