xStack DES-3800 Series Layer 3 Stackable Fast Ethernet Managed Switch CLI Manual config sim Restrictions set the time, in seconds, the Switch will hold information sent to it from other switches, utilizing the discovery interval protocol. The user may set the hold time from 100 to 255 seconds. Only Administrator-level users can issue this command. To change the time interval of the discovery protocol: DES-3800:admin# config sim commander dp_interval 40 Command: config sim commander dp_interval 40 Success.
