Command Parameters create fdb port create multicast_fdb config multicast_fdb [add | delete] config fdb aging_time config multicast port_filtering_mode [ | all] [forward_all_groups | forward_unregistered_groups | filter_unregistered_groups] delete fdb clear fdb [vlan | port | all] show multicast_fdb {vlan | mac_address } show fdb {port | vlan | mac_address | static | aging_time} show multicast port_filtering_mode {} Each command is listed, in detail, in the following sections. create fdb Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to create a static entry to the unicast MAC address forwarding table (database). create fdb port This command will make an entry into the Switch's unicast MAC address forwarding database. − The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides. − The MAC address that will be added to the forwarding table. port − The port number corresponding to the MAC destination address. The Switch will always forward traffic to the specified device through this port. Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command. Example usage: To create a unicast MAC FDB entry: DES-3800:admin#create fdb default 00-00-00-00-01-02 port 5 Command: create fdb default 00-00-00-00-01-02 port 5 Success. DES-3800:admin# 82
