Purpose
Used to delete a STP instance ID from the Switch.
Syntax
delete stp instance_id <value 1-4>
Description
This command allows the user to delete a previously configured STP
instance ID from the Switch.
Parameters
<value 1-4> -
Enter a value between 1 and 4 to identify the Spanning
Tree instance on the Switch.
Restrictions
Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To delete stp instance ID 2 from the Switch.
DES-3800:admin#delete stp instance_id 2
Command: delete stp instance_id 2
Success.

config stp priority
Purpose
Used to update the STP instance configuration.
Syntax
config stp priority <value 0-61440> instance_id <value 0-4>
Description
This command is used to update the STP instance configuration
settings on the Switch. The MSTP will utilize the priority in selecting the

STP regions will instruct the Switch to give precedence to the selected
instance_id
for forwarding packets. The lower the priority value set, the
higher the priority.
