To Specify the Password for Authentication Printing: If you need to specify the password in authentication printing, you can specify the password in the environment variable as follows. % setenv JOWN5130P "password" If you do not specify the password inexplicitly, type as follows. % setenv JOWN5130P "" NOTE: Acceptable password length is between 4 and 12 characters. When an unacceptable character is entered in a password, or when a specified password is not within the range of the allowable character length, the extra characters are ignored.
