Description Use ospf timer dead to set the dead interval. Use undo ospf timer dead to restore the default. The dead interval defaults to 40s for Broadcast, P2P interfaces and defaults to 120s for P2MP and NBMA interfaces. If an interface receives no hello packet from a neighbor within the dead interval, the interface considers the neighbor down.
