[Sysname] bgp 100 [Sysname-bgp] ipv6-family [Sysname-bgp-af-ipv6] synchronization timer (IPv6 address family view) Syntax timer keepalive keepalive hold holdtime View undo timer IPv6 address family view Default level 2: System level Parameters keepalive: Keepalive interval in seconds, ranging from 0 to 21845. holdtime: Holdtime interval in seconds, whose value is 0 or in the range of 3 to 65535. Description Use timer to specify the IPv6 BGP keepalive interval and holdtime interval. Use undo timer to restore the default. By default, the keepalive and holdtime intervals are 60s and 180s. The timers configured with the peer timer command are preferred to the timers configured with the timer command. If the holdtime interval is configured as 0, no keepalive message will be sent to the peer, and the peer connection will never time out. if the keepalive interval is configured as 0 and the negotiated hold time is not 0, one third of the hold time is taken as the interval for sending keepalive messages. If neither the holdtime interval nor the keepalive interval is configured as 0, the holdtime interval must be at least three times the keepalive interval. The configured timers apply to all IPv6 BGP peers, but they become valid for an IPv6 BGP peer only after the relevant IPv6 BGP connection is reset. After this command is executed, no peer connection is closed at once. The configured hold time is used for negotiation when a peer relationship is reestablished. Related commands: peer timer.
