Parameters ipv6-group-name: Name of a peer group, a string of 1 to 47 characters. ipv6-address: IPv6 address of a peer. value: Preferred value, in the range of 0 to 65535. Description Use peer preferred-value to assign a preferred value to routes received from a peer or peer group. Use undo peer preferred-value to restore the default. By default, routes received from a peer or peer group have a preferred value of 0. Routes learned from peers each have an initial preferred value. Among multiple routes to the same destination, the route with the biggest value is selected. If you both reference a routing policy and use the command peer { ipv6-group-name | ipv6-address } preferred-value value to set a preferred value for routes from a peer, the routing policy sets the specific preferred value for routes matching it. Description
Use
peer preferred-value
to assign a preferred value to routes received from a peer or peer group.
Use
undo peer preferred-value
to restore the default.
By default, routes received from a peer or peer group have a preferred value of 0.
