Description Use balance to configure the number of BGP routes for load balancing. Use undo balance to disable load balancing. By default, no load balancing is configured. Unlike IGP, BGP has no explicit metric for making load balancing decision. Instead, it implements load balancing using route selection rules. Related commands: display bgp routing-table. Examples # In BGP view, set the number of routes participating in BGP load balancing to 2. system-view [Sysname] bgp 100 [Sysname-bgp] balance 2 # In BGP-VPN instance view, set the number of routes participating in BGP load balancing to 2. Use undo bestroute as-path-neglect to configure BGP to consider the AS_PATH during best route selection. By default, BGP considers the AS_PATH during best route selection.
