[Sysname-ospf-100] undo rfc1583 compatible router id Syntax router id router-id View undo router id System view Default level 2: System level Parameters router-id: Router ID, in the form of a dotted decimal IPv4 address. Description Use router id to configure a global router ID. Use undo router id to remove the global router ID. By default, no global router ID is configured. Some routing protocols use a router ID to identify a device. You can configure a global router ID, which is used by routing protocols that have no router ID configured. If no global router ID is configured, the highest loopback interface IP address, if any, is used as the router ID. If no loopback interface IP address is available, the highest physical interface IP address is used, regardless of the interface status. If the interface whose IP address is the router ID is removed or modified, a new router ID is selected. Other events, (the interface goes down; after a physical interface address is selected as the router ID, an IP address is configured for a loopback interface; a higher interface IP address is configured) will not trigger a router ID re-selection. After a router ID is changed, you need to use the reset ospf process command to make it effective.
