Learned routes information Field Network Address Subnet Mask Protocol Route Type Next Hop Interface Next Hop Address Preference Metric Description The IP route prefix for the destination. The subnet/network mask, which indicates the portion of the IP interface address that identifies the attached network. The protocol that created the route: Local, Static, or RIP. The type of route, depending on the protocol: Connected, Static, or Dynamic. The interface of the outgoing router interface that must be used when traffic is forwarded to the destination. The IP address of the outgoing router interface that must be used when traffic is forwarded to the next router (if any) in the path toward the destination. The preference, which is a value from 0 to 255. The administrative cost of the path to the destination. The default is 1. The range is from 0 to 255. Delete a route You can delete a route that you no longer need. To delete a route: 1. Launch a web browser. 2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch. The login page displays. 3. Click the Main UI Login button. The main UI login page displays in a new tab. 4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login button. The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in. The System Information page displays. 5.
