Chapter 6 Getting Connected 6.1 Connecting to the Internet Your phone's networking capabilities allow you to access the Internet through data connection or Wi-Fi. 6.2 Data Connection Settings for connecting to the Verizon data network are already preconfigured on your device, and your device is ready to connect to the Internet 6.3 Wi-Fi Wi-Fi provides wireless Internet access over distances of up to 300 feet (100 meters). To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you need access to a wireless access point or "hotspot".
