Press the end backtack key e. • The indicator r will illuminate and the end backtacking function will turn on. • The CD indicator t will illuminate and the number of end backtack stitches will appear in the LED display y. (For example, AA AA indicates 6 stitches for section C and 2 stitches for section D.) 2. Use the ĦĤ selection keys u to change the number of end backtack stitches. 3. Carry out sewing. When the treadle is depressed backward, the end backtack stitches will be sewn. (For the 856A, the thread will then be trimmed.) Note: • The sewing machine will continue operating until the set number of end backtack stitches has been sewn, even if the treadle is returned to the neutral position. • The set number of end backtack stitches will be sewn regardless of the zigzag stop position setting.
