PARTES OPCIONALES I Operating the reflection pattern switch Using the reflection pattern switch allows the following to be carried out. • In addition to scallop patterns, 2-step zigzag, 3-step zigzag (with no zigzag stop position set), blind stitch and custom made patterns can also be sewn as reflection patterns. • In addition, correction sewing can also be carried out using the actuator while the above reflection patterns are being sewn. 1398M For scallop patterns, select AA AA or AA AA as the pattern number instead of AA AA or AA AA. Indicator off (original pattern) q w Sewing direction 1. While sewing is in progress, stop the sewing machine at the sewing start position for the reflection pattern. 2. Press the reflection pattern switch q. The indicator w will illuminate. * If you press the reflection pattern switch q by mistake at any time, press the reflection pattern switch q once more. The indicator w will then switch off. 3. Depress the treadle to sew the reflection pattern. 4. While the reflection pattern is being sewn, stop the sewing machine at the sewing start position for the original pattern. 5. Press the reflection pattern switch q. * The indicator w will switch off and reflection pattern sewing will be canceled. 6. Depress the treadle to continue sew the original pattern. • In this way, you can alternate between sewing the original pattern and sewing a reflection pattern by turning the indicator on and off. During this time, the pattern changeover points are where reflection occurs as shown in the illustration.
