2-4-7. Converting two design elements into one The following procedure explains how to connect the current data (two design elements) and convert them into one. Reversing the sewing direction of design elements: The current link of the two design elements (the original and its copy) is not proper for sewing. By reversing the start and end points of the second element, it can be improved. 1. Use the Select tool to select the second design element. 2. Click Swap Start/End Point on the Modify drop-down menu (or the context menu that appears when right-clicking), or the Swap Start/End Point icon in the toolbar. The start and end points of the selected design element are switched. Aligning the end point of the first element to the start point of the second element: 1. Use the Select tool to select the second design element. 2. Click Pivot on the Modify drop-down menu, or the Pivot icon in the toolbar. The stitch points of both design elements are shown, and the shape of the pointer changes to 56/164

2-4-7. Converting two design elements into one
The following procedure explains how to connect the current data (two design elements) and
convert them into one.
Reversing the sewing direction of design elements:
The current link of the two design elements (the original and its copy) is not proper for sewing.
By reversing the start and end points of the second element, it can be improved.
1. Use the
Select
tool to select the second design element.
2. Click
Swap Start/End Point
on the
Modify
drop-down menu (or the context menu that
appears when right-clicking), or the Swap Start/End
Point icon
in the toolbar.
The start and end points of the selected design element are switched.
Aligning the end point of the first element to the start point of the second
element:
1. Use the
Select
tool to select the second design element.
2. Click
Pivot
on the
Modify
drop-down menu, or the Pivot icon
in the toolbar.
The stitch points of both design elements are shown, and the shape of the pointer changes to
