NOTE: In order to connect to the ROM reader/writer (PRW-1), the baud rate and COM port must be correctly set in Option Setting on the Tools drop-down menu. 1. Click Read From ROM on the File drop-down menu, or the Read From ROM icon in the toolbar. The Read From ROM dialog box appears. 2. Insert a sewing machine ROM into the ROM reader/writer, and Click the Read button. All data in the sewing machine ROM is read and displayed in the Read from ROM dialog box. 3. In the Read From ROM dialog box, make settings for the ROM file to which you want to store the data you created. (Refer to "3-1-8. Reading data from a sewing machine ROM" of "Chapter 3. Reference" for details.) 4. In the Save To ROM File dialog box, make the following settings. Specify the desired folder where you will store the ROM file with the Browse button at the right of the Folder Name box. Input the desired file name for the ROM file in the ROM File input box. 5. Click the Save button. The ROM file is stored in the specified folder. 58/164
