This prevents the fabric from moving out of place during cutting. If it is set to [On], cut them with scissors after the cutting step is finished. For more cleanly cut edges, for example, on patches, select [Cutting only]. If the cut edge will be embroidered, for example, on appliqués, select [Cutting for covering edge of fabric].
