LINE Mode Use the LINE mode to configure console or virtual terminal parameters. To enter LINE mode: 1. Verify that you are logged in to the CONFIGURATION mode. 2. Enter the line command. You can exit this mode by using the exit command. TRACE-LIST Mode When in the CONFIGURATION mode, use the trace-list command to enter the TRACE-LIST mode and configure a Trace list. 1. You can exit this mode by using the exit command. MAC ACCESS LIST Mode While in the CONFIGURATION mode, use the mac access-list standard or mac access-list extended command to enter the MAC ACCESS LIST mode and configure either standard or extended access control lists (ACL). To enter MAC ACCESS LIST mode: 1. Verify that you are logged in to the CONFIGURATION mode. 2. Use the mac access-list standard or mac access-list extended command.
