Usage guidelines By adjusting the LSP generation interval, you can prevent bandwidth and router resources from being over consumed due to frequent topology changes. When network changes are not frequent, the minimum-interval is adopted. If network changes become frequent, the LSP generation interval is incremented by the incremental-interval each time a generation occurs until the maximum-interval is reached. The minimum interval and the incremental interval cannot be greater than the maximum interval. Examples # Set the maximum interval, minimum interval, and incremental interval to 10 seconds, 100 milliseconds, and 200 milliseconds. system-view [Sysname] isis 1 [Sysname-isis-1]timer lsp-generation 10 100 200 timer lsp-max-age Use timer lsp-max-age to set the LSP maximum age in the LSDB.
