Parameters route-policy route-policy-name: Specifies a routing policy by its name, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 63 characters. value: Specifies a preference for RIP routes, in the range of 1 to 255. The smaller the value, the higher the preference. Usage guidelines You can specify a routing policy by using the keyword route-policy to set a preference for matching RIP routes. • The preference set by the routing policy applies to all matching RIP routes. The preference of other routes is set by the preference command. • If no preference is set by the routing policy, the preference of all RIP routes is set by the preference command.
