6 Scanning Introduction Scanning is a function initiated from and performed by the software. The only task done from the HP LaserJet 3100 product is loading the item to be scanned. This chapter will show you how to load items and then briefly cover scanning-related topics, such as how to use the JetSuite Pro software and how the optical character recognition (OCR) software works.
