Selecting items for scanning The guidelines for selecting items are the same whether you are faxing, copying, or scanning an item. See "Selecting items for faxing, copying, and scanning" in chapter 3. Loading items to be scanned Whether you want to fax, copy, or scan, 1 the procedure for loading the document is the same. If your document is on a regular weight paper (from 12 to 28 lb or 46 to 105 g/m2), use "To load normal items."
