Pauses are often needed when dialing internationally. Press REDIAL/PAUSE to enter a two-second pause in your dialing sequence. A comma appears on the control panel display, indicating that the pause will occur at that point in the dialing sequence. If you enter the pause at the end of a number you are programming into a one-touch key, speed-dial code, or group-dial code, the HP LaserJet 3100 product waits to dial this number until you enter another number.
