File Operation Saving the Address Book File FILE GRAM The following procedure saves the current Address Book file or a portion you have selected using the Select function. The selected data, instead of the current file will be saved if you start the procedure below when the selected data is displayed. Otherwise, the entire file will be saved. 1. Press CD from the ADDRESS BOOK or DATA INPUT screen. The following message appears. Save file? Press RETURN to save, CORRECT to abandon. 2. Insert a data diskette and press if you want to save the file. Press ico_RHEcti to abandon (erase) the file. If you press , the word proces- sor asks you to enter a file name. FILENAME: .MRG 3. Enter a file name and press a to save the file. If you have saved an entire Address Book file, the updated ADDRESS BOOK INDEX screen appears. (The extension ".mun is automatically added to the file name.) If you have saved a part of the file using SELECT, the ADDRESS BOOK screen appears. Press to return to the ADDRESS BOOK screen and work on the same file again, or load a file from the diskette. NOTE: When the ADDRESS BOOK INDEX screen is displayed, you can press fakaca or use the EXIT option on the menu to return to the MAIN MENU. Retrieving an Address Book File 1. Display the ADDRESS BOOK INDEX screen and insert the diskette contain- ing the file you want to retrieve. I m 2. Move the cursor to the file you want to retrieve and press RETURN . screen

displayed,
you
can
press
or
use
the
EXIT

on
the
menu
to
return
to
the
MAIN
MENU.

1.
Display
the
ADDRESS
BOOK
INDEX
screen
and
insert
the
diskette
contain-
ing
the
file
you
want
to
retrieve.
2.
Move
the

to

file

want

retrieve
and
press
RETURN
.
The
file
appears
on
the
ADDRESS
BOOK
screen.
