Powering the IDSM2 Up and Down Chapter 7 Installing the IDSM2 Cisco IOS Software Once you power off the IDSM2, you must power it up through the switch CLI. Note The IDSM2 CLI reset powerdown command performs a shut down, but does not remove power from the IDSM2. To power the IDSM2 up and down from the switch CLI, follow these steps: Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Log in to the console.
