ProSafe M4100 and M7100 Managed Switches Term Definition Querier Status The status of the IGMP router, whether it is running in Querier mode or Non-Querier mode. Querier IP Address The IP address of the IGMP Querier on the IP subnet to which this interface is attached. Querier Up Time The time since the interface Querier was last changed. Querier Expiry Time The amount of time remaining before the Other Querier Present Timer expires. If the local system is the querier, the value of this object is zero. Wrong Version Queries The number of queries received whose IGMP version does not match the IGMP version of the interface. Number of Joins The number of times a group membership has been added on this interface. Number of Groups The current number of membership entries for this interface. IGMP Proxy Commands The IGMP Proxy is used by IGMP Router (IPv4 system) to enable the system to issue IGMP host messages on behalf of hosts that the system discovered through standard IGMP router interfaces. With IGMP Proxy enabled, the system acts as proxy to all the hosts residing on its router interfaces. ip igmp-proxy This command enables the IGMP Proxy on the router. To enable the IGMP Proxy on the router, you must enable multicast forwarding. Also, make sure that there are no multicast routing protocols enabled on the router.
