ProSafe M4100 and M7100 Managed Switches sntp server This command configures an SNTP server (a maximum of three). The optional priority can be a value of 1-3, the version a value of 1-4, and the port id a value of 1-65535. Format Mode no sntp server remove Global Config clock timezone When using SNTP/NTP time servers to update the switch's clock, the time data received from the server is based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is the same as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This might not be the time zone in which the switch is located. Use the clock timezone command to configure a time zone specifying the number of hours and optionally the number of minutes difference from UTC. To set the switch clock to UTC, use the no form of the command. Format Mode Default clock timezone zone-name +/-hours-offset [+/-minutes-offset] Global Config no clock timezone Term zone-name hours-offset minutes-offset Definition A name to associate with the time zone Number of hours difference with UTC Number of minutes difference with UTC no clock timezone This command sets the switch to UTC time.
