To remove the default IPv6 RIP route, use the no form of this command. default-information originate no default-information originate Syntax None Default Disabled Command Mode Router configuration Usage Guideline Originating a default IPv6 route into RIP also forces the advertisement of the route in router updates sent on the interface. The advertisement of the route occurs regardless of whether the route is present in the IPv6 routing table. Example The following example originates a default IPv6 route into RIP and advertises the default route with all other routes.
