Video Operations, Creating Video Record

Page 183 highlights

Video Operations This section describes the operation on frame memory output channel 1 (FM1) as an example. When group mode is enabled, the frame memory output channel display changes to [FM1/FM2]. 2 Set the [Through] button for [FM1] to the on state. The frame memory source bus signal is output on the frame memory output channel. Creating Video (Record) You can assign a frame memory source bus signal to a frame memory output channel and then record to capture video content and save it in frame memory. Notes • When the system is powered off, the content in frame memory will be lost. Also, if the channel assignment is changed, unsaved content will be lost. Save any required content in content storage. For details about assigning a frame memory channel, see "Setting DME/Frame Memory Channels" (page 399). For details, see "Saving content to content storage" (page 181). • Only audio is recorded in ancillary data. Metadata is not recorded. 1 Open the Home > Frame Memory > FM1/FM2 > Clip/Still > Record menu (13101.13). To enable group mode Set the [Group Mode] button to the on state. Note The output signal of the frame memory output channel is delayed by one frame. 3 Press the [z] button for [FM1] at the position to start recording. 4 Press the [x] button for [FM1] at the position to stop recording. The video content is saved in the folder specified in the properties for frame memory source 1. When a duration is specified in the properties for frame memory source 1, recording automatically stops when the specified duration has elapsed. Note If a frame memory is recalled using a snapshot while video is being recorded, the recording stops. To play audio during recording Set the [Audio On] switch for [FM1] to the on state. To enable V/K mode Set the [V/K Mode] button to the on state. Audio data restrictions • When frame memory video (record) is created using the cross-point box, audio data is not recorded. • In a 1M/E box switcher configuration, audio data is not output on an M/E box in the following cases. System signal format 2160P 1080P, 1080i Output conditions • When signals on port numbers 1, 5, 9, and 13 are selected on the frame memory source bus and recorded, and frame memory for port numbers 17, 21, 25, and 29 are output • When signals on port numbers 17, 21, 25, and 29 are selected on the frame memory source bus and recorded, and frame memory for port numbers 1, 5, 9, and 13 are output • When signals on port numbers 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, and 32 are selected on the frame memory source bus and recorded, and frame memory for port numbers 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53, 57, and 61 are output • When signals on port numbers 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53, 57, and 61 are selected on the frame memory source bus and recorded, and frame memory for port numbers 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, and 32 are output • In a multiple-box switcher configuration, audio data is not output on an M/E box in the following cases. 183

Video Operations
This section describes the operation on frame memory
output channel 1 (FM1) as an example.
Creating Video (Record)
You can assign a frame memory source bus signal to a
frame memory output channel and then record to capture
video content and save it in frame memory.
When the system is powered off, the content in frame
memory will be lost. Also, if the channel assignment is
changed, unsaved content will be lost. Save any
required content in content storage.
For details about assigning a frame memory channel,
see “Setting DME/Frame Memory Channels”
(page 399).
For details, see “Saving content to content storage”
(page 181).
Only audio is recorded in ancillary data. Metadata is not
recorded.
1
Open the Home > Frame Memory > FM1/FM2 >
Clip/Still > Record menu (13101.13).
To enable group mode
Set the [Group Mode] button to the on state.
When group mode is enabled, the frame memory
output channel display changes to [FM1/FM2].
2
Set the [Through] button for [FM1] to the on state.
The frame memory source bus signal is output on the
frame memory output channel.
The output signal of the frame memory output
channel is delayed by one frame.
3
Press the [
z
] button for [FM1] at the position to start
recording.
4
Press the [
x
] button for [FM1] at the position to stop
recording.
The video content is saved in the folder specified in
the properties for frame memory source 1.
When a duration is specified in the properties for
frame memory source 1, recording automatically
stops when the specified duration has elapsed.
If a frame memory is recalled using a snapshot while
video is being recorded, the recording stops.
To play audio during recording
Set the [Audio On] switch for [FM1] to the on state.
To enable V/K mode
Set the [V/K Mode] button to the on state.
Audio data restrictions
When frame memory video (record) is created using the cross-point box, audio data is not recorded.
In a 1M/E box switcher configuration, audio data is not output on an M/E box in the following cases.
In a multiple-box switcher configuration, audio data is not output on an M/E box in the following cases.
