Detents In three-dimensional space, points called "detents" are defined at regular intervals. You can set the current three-dimensional parameter values to the closest detent point. The intervals between detents are defined as follows. Operation Move image (Location XYZ) Rotate image (Rotation) (Spin) Move rotation axis (Axis Location) Scale image (Location Size) Change image aspect ratio (Aspect (X) (Y)) Change image aspect ratio (Aspect (Z)) Change viewpoint position (Perspective (X) (Y)) Change viewpoint position (Perspective (Z)) Change image skew (Skew) Detent interval 1.0000 0.1250 1.0000 0.2500 0.2500 0.1000 1.0000 0.0100 0.1000 Types of Three-Dimensional Transforms There are the following types of DME three-dimensional transforms. Move image (Location XYZ) Moves the image on the X-axis, Y-axis, or Z-axis. The direction of movement of an image differs depending on whether source space or target space is selected. Image movement in source space Image movement in target space Movement in X-axis direction Movement in Y-axis direction Movement in Z-axis direction Rotate image (Rotation) In rotation mode, the image rotates around the X-axis, Y-axis, or Z-axis. The movement of an image differs depending on whether source space or target space is selected. Image rotation in source space Rotation around the X-axis Rotation around the Y-axis Movement in X-axis direction Movement in Y-axis direction Rotation around the Z-axis Movement in Z-axis direction 196
