Mode selection buttons Function name Menu Run Control M/E-1 to M/E-5 P/P DME Device Button name Description MENU RUN CTRL M/E1 to M/E5 P/P DME DEV • Switches to menu parameter operation mode. • You can adjust parameters (numbers 1 to 3) of the currently displayed menu using the trackball and Z-ring. • Press the [MENU] button twice, turning it on green, to fix the target of the trackball and Z-ring to the parameter currently being adjusted. • Switches to run control operation mode. • Enables operation of the currently recalled effect timeline using the Z-ring. • Switches to resizer operation mode. • The first selected button becomes the reference, and is lit green. Subsequent selected buttons are lit amber. Switches to threedimensional transform operation mode. Switches to device/frame memory/clip player operation mode. Channel selection buttons Function name Channel 1 to Channel 12 K1 Resizer to K8 Resizer FM 1 Clip to FM 16 Clip Button name CH1 to CH12 K1RSZ to K8RSZ FM1 CLIP to FM16 CLIP Description CH1 to CH4: Selects the target DME channel in threedimensional transform operation mode. CH1 to CH12: Selects the target device in device/frame memory/ clip player operation mode. Selects the target resizer in resizer operation mode. Selects the target frame memory output channel in device/frame memory/clip player operation mode. Function name Clip Player 1 to Clip Player 4 Button name Description CLIP1 to CLIP4 Selects the target clip player output channel in device/frame memory/clip player operation mode. Notes • When multiple channels are selected, the first selected button becomes the reference, and is lit green. Subsequent selected buttons are lit amber. • [CH1] to [CH8] and [K1RSZ] to [K8RSZ] share the same buttons. b Operation buttons (assignable buttons) You can assign buttons for use in each operation mode in the Home > Setup > Panel > Module > Button Assign menu (19104.21). For details about assigning buttons, see "Assigning Control Panel Buttons" (page 402). Resizer operation mode This mode is used for two-dimensional transform operations on images using a resizer. For details about resizer operations, see "Resizer" (page 137). Function name Aspect/ Perspective Location Size Rotation Shift Button name ASP PERS LOC SIZE ROT SHIFT Description Adjusts the aspect ratio of a key using the trackball or Z-ring. • Moves a key using the trackball. • Scales a key (shrink/ magnify) using the Z-ring. • Rotates a key using the trackball. • Adjusts the perspective of a key using the Z-ring. Used in combination with the [CTR], [CLR WORK BUFR], and [BDR/CROP] buttons. 54
