Two types of configuration files can be uploaded with this command: Virtual Fabric configuration parameters and system configuration parameters. Use the -vf option to upload Virtual Fabric configuration parameters. The Virtual Fabric configuration includes logical switch definitions and Virtual Fabric status (enabled or disabled). The file should be named switch-conf_xx.txt to distinguish it from the regular system configuration (config.txt). The xx indicates the platform ID specified in the header of the configuration file. The platform ID is the same as the first two digits of the "switchType" parameter displayed by switchShow. Virtual Fabric configuration data can only be shared between switches that belong to the same platform type and share the same platform ID. Refer to configDownload help for more information on the Virtual Fabric configuration. 152 Fabric OS Command Reference 53-1002746-01
