If you keep simple daily records, you will see trends emerging and notice problems arising before they cause major network faults. This way, statistics can help you get the best out of your network. By default, CPU monitoring is enabled and occurs every 20 seconds. The default CPU threshold value is 60%. This information may be useful for your technical support representative if you experience a problem. Depending on the software version running on your switch or your switch model, additional or different CPU and process information might be displayed. When you issue the command without any parameters, the switch displays CPU utilization history for all of the processes running on the MSMs/MMs installed in your system. Chapter 4.
