Syntax Description port-list Specifies the port number(s). Default N/A. Usage Guidelines Digital Diagnostic Monitoring Interface (DDMI) provides critical system information about 10G XFP optical modules. Use this command to monitor the condition of the XFP modules. If you try to execute this command on one of the ports in the port list that is non-compliant with DDMI, the following error message is displayed and the command does not go through: Port 3:1 This command is not supported on this port. All ports and transceiver of the ports requested in the command need to support DDMI. If you try to execute this command on one of the ports in the port list on which the transceiver is non-compliant with DDMI, the following error message is displayed: Port 3:1 This media/transceiver does not support enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDMI). All ports and transceiver of the ports requested in the command need to support DDMI. For more detailed information, use the show port transceiver information detail command.
