Usage Guidelines Viewing statistics on a regular basis allows you to see how well your network is performing. When you keep simple daily records, you see trends emerging and notice problems arising before they cause major network faults. This way, statistics can help you get the best out of your network. This information may be useful for your technical support representative if you experience a problem. Depending on the software version running on your switch or your switch model, additional or different memory information might be displayed. You can also use the show memory {slot [slotid | a | b]} command to view the system memory and the memory used by the individual processes, even for all processes on all MSMs/MMs installed in the switch. 180 | Chapter 4.
