Enter the address as six two-digit hexadecimal numbers separated by colons, for example, 00:06:29:32:81:40. 8. Click the Add button. The static ARP entry is added to the switch. 9. Click the Apply button. The updated configuration is sent to the switch. Configuration changes take effect immediately. The following table describes the nonconfigurable information displayed on the page. You can navigate through the table by doing the following: • From the Rows per page menu, select how many table entries are displayed per page. Possible values are 20, 50, 100, 200, and All. If you select All, the browser might be slow to display the information. • Click the < button to display the previous page of the table data entries. • Click the > button to display the next page of the table data entries. It must be the IP address of a device on a subnet attached to one of the switch's existing routing interfaces. The routing interface associated with the ARP entry. The unicast MAC address of the device. The address is six two-digit hexadecimal numbers separated by colons, for example, 00:06:29:32:81:40. The type of ARP entry. Possible values are as follows: • Local. An ARP entry associated with one of the switch's routing interface's MAC addresses. • Gateway. A dynamic ARP entry whose IP address is that of a router. • Static. An ARP entry configured by the user. • Dynamic. An ARP entry that was learned by the router.
