Display contents of a text file in the local filesystem. Display information about the file systems on the system. format flash (S55) Erase all existing files and reformat the filesystem in the internal flash memory or the USB drive. Once the filesystem is formatted, files cannot be restored. Syntax format [flash: | usbflash: ] Parameters flash: usbflash: Reformat the filesystem in the internal flash memory Reformat the filesystem in the connected USB drive memory Default flash memory Command Modes EXEC Privilege Command History Version 8.3.5.0 Introduced on the S55. Usage Information You must include the colon (:) when entering this command. Caution: This command deletes all files, including the startup configuration file. So, after executing this command, consider saving the running config as the startup config (use the write memory command or copy run start). logging coredump c e s Enable coredump. Syntax logging coredump {cp | linecard {number | all} | rps | stack-unit {id | all}} Disable coredump using the command no logging coredump {cp | linecard {number | all} | rps} Parameters cp linecard rps stack-unit Enable coredump for the CP. Enable coredump for a linecard. Enable coredump for RP 1 and 2. Enable coredump for the stack-unit. Range: S55 0-11 All other S-Series 0-7 Defaults The kernal coredump is enabled by default for RP 1 and 2 on E-Series.
