This command also applies to SNMP requests. If the command is not enabled, IFM returns zero values for VLAN output counters. SNMP counters differ from show interface counters as SNMP counters must maintain history. At any point, the value of SNMP counters reflect the amount of traffic being carried on the VLAN. VLAN output counters may show higher than expected values because source-suppression drops are counted. During an RPM failover event, all SNMP counters remain intact.
