Syntax Parameters ipv6 neighbor {ipv6-address} {interface interface} {hardware_address} To remove a static IPv6 entry from the IPv6 neighbor discovery, use the no ipv6 neighbor {ipv6-address} {interface interface} command. ipv6-address interface interface hardware_address Enter the IPv6 address of the neighbor in the x:x:x:x::x format. The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of zero Enter the keyword interface followed by the interface type and slot/port or number information: • For a Fast Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fastEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. • For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-channel followed by a number from 1 to 255. • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port information. Enter a 48-bit hardware MAC address in nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn format. Defaults No default behavior or values Command Modes CONFIGURATION show ipv6 neighbors e Display IPv6 discovery information.
