distance ospf c e s Configure an OSPF distance metric for different types of routes. Syntax Parameters distance ospf [external dist3] [inter-area dist2] [intra-area dist1] To delete these settings, enter no distance ospf. external dist3 inter-area dist2 intra-area dist1 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword external followed by a number to specify a distance for external type 5 and 7 routes. Range: 1 to 255 Default: 110. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword inter-area followed by a number to specify a distance metric for routes between areas. Range: 1 to 255 Default: 110. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword intra-area followed by a number to specify a distance metric for all routes within an area. Range: 1 to 255 Default: 110.
